HAWKESBURY 7 ISLAND CRUISE

What better way to experience the involved History and Spectacular Scenery than to cruise around the 7 water accessible Islands of the Lower Hawkesbury.

Today we learn much much more about Lion, Dangar, Spectacle, Long, Peat, Milson and Bar Islands whilst enjoying fresh fish chips and salad lunch as we cruise.

Then a complimentary Afternoon tea will be served before travelling back home.

THE NEW SYDNEY ZOO

Lets visit Sydneys new world class zoo enabling ease of access throughout (wheelchair & Senior Friendly). It houses hundreds of native and exotic animals in open air safari type exhibits not forgetting one of the well appointed café and gift shop. Lunch is own expense or bring your own.

GREAT NORTH ROAD

The Great North Road is a 240km convict-built masterpiece constructed between 1826 and 1836 to provide an overland route from Sydney to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

It remains one of the most impressive engineering feats of Australia's convict era. Much of the road has since become a secondary road but still remains an important route today. It is also popular as a scenic drive as we pass through historic Wollombi & St Albans.

BROKEN BAY PEARL FARM TOUR

All Exciting relatively new industry where we cruise the waterways of the Central Coast and visit a working Pearl Farm. Discover how local pearls are grown and witness a live pearl harvest from the shell.

Back on land join experts in a hands on pearl grading session and learn the 7 virtues of a pearl.

To compliment our day, lunch will be freshly cooked fish and chips along the shoreline of Brisbane Waters and a special visit to the Gosford Chocolate and Nougat Factory before returning home.

Bring a spray jacket just in case! (minimum numbers apply).

PICTURESQUE PITTWATER

Enjoy a cuppa with the birdlife at Manly Dam before travelling along the northern coastline to "See the Seas and Sights" at Narrabeen and Mona Vale Beaches. Travel on to Avalon and hear the history of these early townships as your coach takes you from the surf to the calmer waters of Pittwater. Take in the serenity of these lovely locations and stroll on along the wharf at Clareville for extensive views to Broken Bay and the Central Coast. View the Yacht Clubs and modern Marinas around Newport and hear the story of this 19th century "New" Port for Sydney. Lunch will be enjoyed at the wel appointed Pitwater RSL Club. After lunch travel through the once "artisians" suburbs of Loquat Valley and Church Point taking in views to the northern and western Pittwater areas as well as a pretty vista across to Scotland Island. Time permittting enjoy a stroll (or ice cream stop) along the wharf at Chruch Point before departing Pittwatter and travelling through the vast green and grey Eucalypt Forests of the Kuringai National Park as we head for home.

OVER THE BARRINGTON TOPS

A popular day out as we cross over the Barrington Tops. Passing through Gloucester and historic gold town of Copeland, Blue Gum and Snow Gum Forests, stopping off at Pole Blue rest area for lunch, as well as numerous lookouts taking in the superb scenery of this true wilderness area.

Descending to the west via the Dingo Gate lookout to Moonan Flat we travel across the fertile river flats of the upper Hunter.

WALLIS LAKE SEAFOOD LUCHEON CRUISE

A stunning eco cruise around Wallis Lake, featuring some of the 189 species of birds, wallabies, Kangaroos and more often than not pods of dolphin. The Wallis Lake has become the cleanest estuarine waterway in New South Wales. Enjoy fresh local prawns, oysters and a selection of fresh salads and cold meats while cruising.

ROOKWOOD CEMETERY

Rookwood is a Heritage listed Cemetery. It is the largest necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere and the Worlds largest remaining operating cemetery from the early Victorian era. As we are guided through some of the most historic and culturally significant areas whilst learning about some of the more intersting and sordid tale of people from yesteryear. An oportunity also to wonder through the magnificant gardens and historic buildings.

FESTIVAL OF THE FLEECES (Running of the Sheep)

Join us on an absolutely fun day to help celebrate the 30th year festival at the Festival of the Fleeces inluxury Merriwa with over 100 market variety stalls and 35 family attractions. The festival promotes the rich agricultural history and community spirit.

INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT & HOSPITALITY

Join us for lunch in the student run Grand Dining Room Restaurant at the International College of Management. Built in 1885-1889 as the 1st National Catholic Seminary in Australia. It was built from locally quarried stone and is 4 stories high with a 6 level Central Bell Tower and Slated Roof built by well known 19th century architects Joseph Sheerin & John Hennessey with sweeping views over the Pacific Ocean and North Head Reserve at beautiful Manly.

You will be treated like Royality as you enjoy a meal fit for a King (or Queen). Come and be pampered. Licensed (drinks own expense).

ABERDEEN HIGHLAND GAMES

The games begin with a parade of bands, clan representatives and others that culminate into the massed band salute and cheiftans address, officially opening the day. Followed by strong man events, highland country dancing, tartan warriors, tug-o-war and much more. There are lots of stalls and stands selling all manner of Scottish regalia, to complete our day.
